Watch StarSlay3r aka Judy Nails from the Guitar Hero 4 booth battle me at DDR at Gameworks during PAX 2008. Actually this happened the night before PAX. Just getting ready for a long weekend.

Here is my complete collection of buttons I collected at PAX 2008. Each button was created by an individual attendee and voluntarily traded with me. It was a great idea that fueled community participation at this years event.

Also in the picture you will see my limited edition Fallout 3 handpuppet, as well as a book and promotional cards for the game. This set has been going for well over $100 on eBay.

This years Penny Arcade Expo seen 58,500 attendees, the place was pretty packed and people lined up for 20-60 minutes before a few of the panels and presentations.
But its exactly what it should be, a big melting pot of gamers of all types. It’s a place to truly geek out.

PAX’s director Robert Khoo said in an interview, "Key learnings for next year? Better line management and more space!"

Obviously they seen it as an issue. It won’t take much to fix what happened this year. But we all know PAX is never going to stop growing. The event is amazing. All we need is more side events to bust up the crowds.

Bioware sent one lucky gamer to PAX this year.
Here is a quote from the blog about this years cookie brigade.

"Before the competition began, Tycho made a special announcement about the cookie brigade: we had earned over 5,000 dollars for Child’s Play! It was a great feeling to know that we had contributed meaningfully to such a wonderful organization, and it was great to see the limitless generosity of the Gaming community for good causes!"

I actually bought a cookie for 3$ im glad I could contribute a bit. They were good too!
