Fanny Pack = NO

Back Pack = YES (must have to carry the massive loads of free stuff.)

Comfortable Shoes is a must because you will find your self walking the convention center all day. Also many of the streets in that area are very sloped so if walking isn’t your favorite thing definitely have good shoes.

Stick Deodorant coat them pits you grease ball.

Body Spray Deodorant is a good plus, something like AXE. If you are running around all day you want to make sure you don’t embarass yourself around the gamerchix. Once you walk into a PC lan room at PAX you will see what im talking about. Here is a quote to remember "THINK BEFORE YOU STINK".

Cargo Shorts or Pants, you need pockets so you have quick access to your digital camera, cell phone, Subway chocolate chip cookies, paperwork, gametrailers.com pins, gametap necklaces, and assorted suckers.

Favorite video game tshirts, EVERYONE at PAX wears video game tshirts, its just how it goes. If you don’t have one when you get there, you will definitely walk out with a few. Sierra, Rockstar, Microsoft and many others were giving out tees by the tons.

Cellphone, make sure to have some sort of communication.

Black Sharpie, believe it or not, you may have the opportunity to meet some very talented people associated with some of the top selling video games in the world.

MONEY, yes you need money.
Besides the cost for your hotel and flight, figure that you will need a couple hundred for food and safety. Shuttles to and from the hotel are dirt cheap, don’t be a noobie and jump on a taxi right off the plane. You will find yourself paying $40 instead of $11 on the Airporter Shuttle.
As far as food goes, at the event expect to primarily eat Subway, Mexican, Crappy Pizza, McDonalds a few blocks down, or some higher end restaurant. That is really all you are going to find without walking to far. The first 3 food stops on that list are located right in the convention center. (The mexican joint is the best!)

Extra Points, come dressed up as your favorite video game character, believe me cosplayers are highly respected at PAX. You won’t see to many of them but those that you do see get a ton of media coverage.

Come prepared to have fun, meet new people and share one of the ultimate gaming experiences together. Remember, if you have extra floor space in a hotel there is always someone looking for a place to stay. Gamers unite!
